✨ Candlelight Tours at the Birthplace — Back by Popular Demand!
This holiday season, the Edison Birthplace again glows with tradition's warm light. After a sold-out debut last year, the Festive Candlelight Tour returns for three special evenings filled with history, charm, and holiday magic.
Guests will each hold their own battery-lit candle as they step back in time and explore the rooms where young Thomas Edison’s imagination first sparked. The Birthplace transforms into a serene candlelit setting, adorned with festive décor and the nostalgic spirit of Christmases past. With each flicker of light, stories of the Edison family, their home, and Milan’s rich history come to life in an intimate and timeless way.
The first tour on Thursday, November 28, coincides with Milan’s beloved Town Square Lighting Celebration, seamlessly transitioning from the glow of the town’s celebration to the warm candlelight of the Birthplace. Additional tours on Friday, December 5, and Friday, December 12, offer the same cozy, story-filled experience for guests looking to capture the season’s quiet magic.
Each evening promises a peaceful escape from the bustle of the holidays — a chance to slow down, soak in the glow, and celebrate the season through the light of history.
